About me

As a clinical psychologist with seven years of experience, I offer expertise in treating a wide range of mental health difficulties. My career began at Hillmorton Hospital, where I served four years with the Canterbury District Health Board (Te Whatu Ora), before transitioning to private practice in early 2022. Throughout my career, I have supported people facing diverse mental health challenges and I have developed particular expertise in working with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and adult ADHD. I also specialise in treating trauma using EMDR therapy. My therapeutic approach is client-centred, and I focus on creating a safe and compassionate environment where clients can freely express themselves, develop new coping strategies, and work through their challenges.

Adult ADHD Assessments

Living with suspected ADHD can impact nearly every aspect of daily life, including work, relationships, and routine tasks. Common signs include difficulty staying organised, maintaining focus, and listening attentively. People with ADHD might frequently misplace items, procrastinate, and experience racing thoughts. Those affected often notice distinct patterns in their focus: either becoming intensely absorbed in certain activities while neglecting responsibilities, or struggling to complete simple tasks that don't capture their interest. They may exhibit hyperactive-impulsive symptoms such as fidgeting, interrupting others, or feeling restless. If you recognise these patterns, you may wish to seek an ADHD assessment.

I have availability for ADHD assessments in February / March. I charge $1600 per assessment (GST inclusive).

Rates
