About me
I have been a practicing clinical psychologist for six years. Before working in private practice, I worked for the Canterbury District Health Board (Te Whatu Ora) at Hillmorton Hospital for four years. I have been working in private practice since the beginning of 2022. I have experience supporting a variety of people struggling with their mental health difficulties, but I have particular interests in helping adults with anxiety, low mood, relational difficulties, and treating difficulties associated with trauma using EMDR. I take a client centred approach to therapy with an emphasis on creating a safe and compassionate therapeutic space for clients to express themselves, learn new skills, and overcome their difficulties.

Expertise
I have good experience supporting adults to recover from low mood, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and trauma and grief related difficulties. I also have experience supporting those with psychosis and eating disorders.
My clinical practice is all evidenced based and includes the use of:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
What I offer
Assessment and Treatment
I offer assessment and treatment for adults struggling with low mood, anxiety, and trauma related difficulties. I also offer support to those struggling with general life difficulties. I will consider all others who contact me seeking help and support for difficulties that do not fit with the above descriptions.
I am available to complete Readiness Assessments / Affirmative Gender-Informed Assessments.
ADHD Assessments
I am available to complete Adult ADHD assessments. I charge $1600 per assessment (GST inclusive). Please contact me by email to check my availability to complete an ADHD assessment, or for further information on my assessment process.
ACC Accredited
I am ACC accredited and provide psychological services to those who have experienced mental injury and are looking to engage in either ACC sensitive claims or psychological services.

Rates
Sessions cost $190 (GST included). Payment is via invoice/bank transfer.
Please note that missed sessions and those cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full.
